Story

About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins to experience increasingly terrifying and unexplained events. Crushed by escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to come face to face with her past. In one scene, Skye places a bottle of VOSS water on a stone/marble kitchen counter and a noise is heard that matches the sound of a plastic object being placed.

VOSS water bottles are made of glass, something that’s actually specifically emphasized in the movie, and so the audio doesn’t match the action seen.. Skye Riley: [to Smile Entity] You’re not in control, me! .

But where this movie really shines is Naomi Scott

It’s pretty similar in structure and how it plays out to the first movie, so if you liked 1 then you’ll like 2. She gave 1000% to this movie and I was absolutely blown away by her performance. She shows such great range and brings an intensity to the film that was definitely not present in the first film.

They also really amped up the gore here, which I liked

As far as issues go, as mentioned earlier, it’s pretty similar to the first movie. I was hoping the formula would change a bit, but it follows the same plan. Also, since this movie is almost entirely self-contained, it treads some similar ground in terms of erudition and learning about what the "essence" f.

It’s still solid enough on its own

So if you’ve seen the first movie, you’ll see some recurring aspects there. There are some very creepy sequences, great gore and Naomi Scott is the absolute shining star of the film. Definitely worth seeing for her performance alone.
